April 13, 2008 CTARS Conference
As many of you have heard, CTARS is holding a conference Sunday April 13, 2008. We will have 4 speakers. Tentatively appearing:
Adam Blundell – Ornamental Crustations (Shrimp, snails, etc)
Mystic Aquarium – New things happening there
Joe Burger (JBNY)
James Fatherree – Clams

Tickets are limited. The cost is $25 and includes 4 talks and a “Taste of Italy” lunch.

We will have vendors as well. Randy from Reef Nutrition will be there, Mike from East Coast SPS, and several more. At the end of the day, we will be having a big raffle. Things like:

Ice Cap HQI Ballast
Oceanic BioCube 8
Corals
Salt

To sign up and be guaranteed a seat, you need to sign up at (and pay) at the January 20, 2008 meeting. After that, we will begin putting up posters in local stores, advertising and allowing people to register via the CTARS website.

Wow, Joe Burger's current tank build thread is fantastic. His old TOTM was one of my favorites. Good job on bringing him in. Can't wait to see more "inside looks" on his new tank!

The Conference is going to be in Cromwell. Hopefully tonight I can finish up the poster and get it up here.
