What do tangs eat?

Besides dried sea weed and spinach, what other veggie matters do tangs eat?

Does it have to be romain lettuce? I've tried other green leavy veggies (without soaking in anything) but my tangs won't touch them.

My old yellow and powder brown loved it, that was a lettuce a LFS recommended so I have no clue about the others but I guess its fine, so they won't touch nori neither?

Nori, and pellet food with garlic. Also the romaine needs to be either cooked or frozen and thawed before feeding it to them. It also does not have much nutritional value for them but it is a good treat.... Broccoli is good for them but also should be poached before feeding it to them....

I feed mine brocoli and banana.Steam the broc or dehydrated,Romain lettuce is not good as it is a filler,Watch out for romain as it almost wiped my tank out years ago even thow I bought it from a very reputable store and had scrubbed it.I had to massive feed fish to get poisin from romain to pass through them.Think we eat that stuff to

I feed Nori, a good pellet, a good flake, and a combination of frozen mysis, marine select, blood worm, squid(run it under ro water to remove the frozen content that can add nutrients to tank) Tangs need more than just veggies.
