Power Compact Interchangeable?

1st of all, Happy New Year.

Does anyone know if I can use 65W power compact bulbs on my current ballast that currently has 96W bulbs. And/Or does anyone make a 24" 96W bulb?

I would imagine the ballast would overdrive them. They should work however thay may burn out sooner.

Well I have never tried it first hand but Hellolights and Marine Depot sell ballasts that will operate 96 or 65 watt bulbs and 40 or 32 watt bulbs. I think you will be fine. R

It should be fine. I've run 32w bulbs with a 96w ballast.
