Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone ever had any luck with their hermits breeding?

I believe it has been done in university laboratories, but I haven't heard of it occurring in the hobby. When the larval hermit crabs are ready to settle onto the substrate they need TINY snail shells to occupy.

That and you need to feed the larvae before they settle (from what I've read 14-28 days).

Anyway, it would take a dedicated setup to be successful.
