Hey Greg, BTW, I know this is off the subject, but here's another picture I took with the new Nikon 995. What do you think?

PS: Like the eel!

Just thought I'd revive this old thread with a picture of some yellow polyps I got last week(Father's Day ). This is about as close as I can get with the Canon A40 without the add on lenses.

Here's one of my better close-ups. I need to experiment much more with my new digicam though.

Oh okay you twisted my arm one more

By the way a few messages

MTNDEWMAN- We live near Chicago ourselves. We went to Chicago for a wedding and we visited Shedd at the same time (convenient ) WE MUST HAVE SPENT 20 MINUTES JUST STARING AT THAT JELLY FISH IN AWE!)

64IVY- Nice purple Acro in your picture, the carb is great, its a bonus when we get these little extras on our coral don't you think?

Here's a picture of my Hawaiian Harlequin (just got him last night). Gregr was at the LFS where I got this from, taking pictures of a lot of the fish/corals in the store, and he graciously took some pictures of my new shrimp for me. I'll post a few when he emails them to me. I have no doubt they'll be as amazing as all of the other pictures he takes. For now though, here's my amateur offering:

Meg - Cool aquarium in Chicago, I like going there every so often. Hard to get there a lot me being in the Seattle area now. That jellyfish was spectacular in person. I am off to the Seattle Aquarium next weekend. I hope to get some decent shots there.

Here are a couple of more pictures. Tentacle, nice harlequin's, I always love a good Harlequin Shrimp pic

Here is one of mine munching on their favorite foods
