Very pretty peacock you have.
I'm kind of jealous, I have always wanted to get to see one of my Mantis molting.

Be careful in removing the molts too often (ever?) as I have read here and elsewhere that the mantis often eat their molt to reclaim essential nutrients/shell-building minerals.

The parts that I find most often left over are the dactyls; as they are too hard/difficult to consume. These are the souveniers I claim from the tank.

i have no idea but that is what he did for a while after he shed his molt. ill tell u the truth at first i thought he was dieing . he was laying on his side like twingen and stuff i called in the wife and said look babe the mantis i think is dieing. so i took off the the garage and she called be back and said get the camera !! so i came back and he keep moven all around upside down and just popped out of everything it was awsome . he was totally back to normal the next day.
