Thumbs up FragFarmer! WOW!!!

I just stopped by Eric's place today and he's got TONS of new Acros and Montis. Some amazing pieces. Got my eyes stuck on a particular piece but just didn't have the moola It sucks big time when you have to restock after a tank crash. But I did pick up this piece a little over a week ago. Hope it colors up nicely I really like it and think it has a lot of potential. What do you guys think?

Very nice. I was at Eirc's a few weeks back, he was expecting a shipment in the next day. Picked up a few corals at very cheep price around $25 per. Nice find on your part.

Brewen - Thanks. For $25 I hope you are talking frags and not colonies I think I need to have a talk with Eric

Tony - what's the point of working so hard if you can't spend some of that $$$ on corals

brandon - I don't have an ID but whatever it is, I like it

brandon - nice pic. What lighting are you running? And where do you have the piece placed in your tank, high, middle, or low? I just moved mine up to about 12-14" below the light. The colors are holding so far.

Tony - who needs a car. It's all about the tank dude

Steve - thanks. Yeah, that's what Eric called it, the "Blue Monster" and I agree, no matter what it's called, it's a beautiful piece with LOADS of potential

Do you have it 20" below the water surface or from the light itself? Mine is about 4-6" beneath the water surface and the light is about 8" about the tank. BTW, I have the same bulb as you. I actually had it lower in the tank but I thought the lower parts of the colony was starting to brown out, so I moved it up higher to see if it made a difference.

Where is Ramona? If you are not too far, maybe we can check out each other's tanks and compare notes.

I ended up getting an identical piece as Kenny that same day. So far it retaining a light blue coloration. While we were there the name "Blue Monster" was tossed around. It will be interesting to see if that name sticks.

I have mine sitting in about 9 inches of water (frag tank) with the light hanging about another 8 inches above that. Been keeping the coral off to the side to reduce any chance of bleaching. By this weekend I'll move the coral to my main tank.

I stopped by there today, I even bought a coral I think its the first corals I've bought in 2 years.

Ken, going to Big bear tomorrow. I've looked at just about every bike out there over the past 6 months. I just can't find one the way I want it so I'm going to have to build it.

Are you going to have BBC build you one or buy one off the floor? I'm riding out to Laughlin for this years River Run at the end of the month. It's a great place to see all the custom builders as they all bring their best... and not those lame discovery channel "theme" bikes. Might be a good place to find your dream bike.

Ken,
BBC can't build it the way I want it so I have no other choice but to do it myself, plus I'll save 4 grand and get 1500.00 worth of tools to boot. I have a good friend at work who's built bikes before so it shouldn't be a problem It'll probably take the rest of the year to build it, maybe longer so no riding this year.

I'm planning on driving out to Laughlin for the day (probably Sat) just to check out paint. That's the only thing I haven't decided on. probably never will.

Mark, are you getting colors back on your corals or is the curse still in full force? I thought that since you actually bought something new, that your luck is changing.
