bubble algae and emerald crabs ?

I have fell a sleep at the wheel and let a bubble epidemic run rampant. I believe there is to many to clean outside the tank and I really don't want to break down the tank. I was thinking of 12 emerald crabs from aqua hut at 4 bucks each. Has any one had any success with the emeralds? My tank is 90 gallons with about 30 +% infestation with some thick and imbedded clusters to low to the rock to snip off. I was thinking of breaking them with the diatom intake and running it for a few days to catch spores. I really don't want to break them if there is a chance the crabs will work. Has any body had an horror stories of the crabs going for corals.
Thanks maybe I can let this guy loose in the tank

I had great luck with emerald crabs and valonia back in fowlr days. They're very thorough and fun to watch rip them up.

I have a few valonia now, and have been considering getting a few, but with sps I'm worried they'll mis-behave once the tastier stuff is gone.

If anyone has experience with sps tank and emerald crabs I'd love to hear it.

Otherwise, I'd recommend. But you don't need 12. I had 4 in a 90, and was more than enough.
