I really don't understand why Florida doesn't set up a rivalry with a big time program out of the region, actually I do but its too bad they don't have the stones to do something like SC and Ohio State are doing

SC and OSU have a built in base for a great rivalry because of all those old Rose Bowl games. I hope Cal and Tennessee keep their matchup going.

If you don't know that expression you have 'no' room for acting like you all of a sudden have intelligence.

OSU also played @ Washington (nobody knew when that game was scheduled UW would be so bad)

OSU has a marquee opponent home/home scheduled every year for the next 10 years or so (USC, Miami, Va Tech, Oklahoma...)

Florida doesn't leave the state for OOC games.

That's because none of their OOC opponents have the budget to travel to Florida the following year for the partner game. Pretty much have to be within reasonable bussing distance. 1-AA travel budgets are pretty small.....

Hmmm this is the first but I have a question.

If FLA wins out, what happens if Tennessee loses one more game in the SEC and UGA loses one more game in the SEC? Then there is a three way tie right because FLA beat Tenn, Tenn beat UGA and UGA beat FLA. So then how do they decide who goes to the SEC title game?

Not FLA's fault that they play in the toughest conference. OOC games should be a break. I mean practically every game OSU plays is a break.

No, the Big Ten has their good years just like the SEC but I honestly believe the Big 10 this year and last are overrated. I am very curious to see how good OSU is still.

First of all LSU has only lossed once there buddy. On the eastern conference you have 4 ranked teams with Kentucky just being ranked as well. Those teams keep knocking each other off and with the additon of the west conference you have a dam good conference which is precisely why they keep losing. Can you say that about the Big 10? Hell no. So put the bong down and open the windows.

And oh, call the rug hotline and he might be able to tutor you for $75 an hour with the addition of some frags to teach you the concept of college football. I have only heard great things!

The tie breaker is decided by their rankings in the polls. I think it's done by the BCS poll, but I'm not positive.

Theres a tiebreaker to get to two teams. If I am reading it rigth it goes Division record, Head to head, overall record, Record against a common opponent starting with the best overall division record and working down. If that doesn't work it goes to BCS rankings UNLESS one team is ranked within 5 places of the highest ranked team. Then it goes to head to head matchups of the two top ranked tied teams.

Tennessee has an out of conference loss so if they lose again they get bumped due to the worse overall record, so it would fall to Georgia and Florida with the tiebreaker going to Georgia.

Of course if Kentucky and Carolina could both win out there would be a 4 way tie for first, the computer would melt down and they would appoint 5th place Florida the division champs.

if I'm looking at the wat the SEC west is working out IF (big if) BAMA can beat LSU and then beat Miss State then they win the SEC west, even if they lose to AU.

Yes, I do think Bama can win that game...LSU is good but I don't think they are NC material after seeing them play against Florida and Kentucky
