Yea, but there are pods inside the display as well. You can see them all over now... so I'm not really sure why he doesn't eat them.

No, nothing new with the 75.

My clown died in my nano though He started breating really rapidly and looked stressed. I thought it was brooks maybe but he didn't develop any other symptons or outward disease. I tested all of my lelves and everything was zero.. even nitrates which was surprising. The SH and pipefish are doing great... so it was really odd to me that the clown was what died.

No, sorry. I have no idea why he started eating them. For months he wouldn't, then all of a sudden started. Mine is eating the Formula 2 small pellets.

I am sorry to hear that NanoGurl, you know it's sometimes just something that can't be explained. Hopefully it isn't something that other fish can catch.

Thanks MP! This was a few weeks ago... no other fish just the SH and pipefish. They have been fine. The clown from day one was always "slower" then normal... one reason i guess he did well with the SH. I'm guessing when i got him he had something but I really don't know. It happened to fast to treat him.

Hey... I just took my gf down to the new display at the Eastwood Mall and she loves the snowflake eel. I'm thinking of doing a fish only tank and wanted your advise with a snowflake. I really want a tuskfish... don't know if I can put them together but you're the only one I know with a snowflake... just wondering what you feed and what makes him happy. Thanks.

Hi ya. I feed my eels frozen shrimp, scallops, krill and sometimes small pieces of fish. I feed them off of tongs and I haven't had any problems with my eels eating frozen and leaving my fish in the tank alone. Feed 3x or so a week and offer lots of crevices and holes for them to hide in. That will keep them happy.

I've been flying through this entire thread for the past two or three hours! In every picture, everything that is set up looks well-planned out. The setup is one of the cleanest I've seen! I'm still learning off of my 55 gallon, but when I upgrade (hopefully sometime in the next year), this will definitely be one of the threads I use as a guide! Keep up with the updates - your livestock is looking great!

If you don't mind me asking, do your order your zoas online? If so, what sites do you visit? I can't remember if you mentioned it in this thread and to be honest, I don't want to sift through 88 pages again!

Update!

Well, the front of my 75g is 50% covered in coraline algae.. that's how bad it's been lately! I haven't scraped in probably two months. I'm kinda liking the pink though! Too bad you can't see inside the tank lol

I also scrubbed down my brute can that I use for mixing up salt. Drained all the water and scrubbed it down and letting it dry over night. I also siphoned out some water on my nano and algae scraped that.

So today was full of tank maint. I smell like a fish and need a shower. lol
