I've been following along on this thread as I set up a 90 earlier this year. I'm having terrible trouble with cyano (for months now) -what are you using for flow?

For flow, im using a maxi jet w/ sureflow mod, koralia 1, the return split into 2 loc lines, and i just ordered a koralia #4 from DRF&S, hope to get that by the end of the week since its on backorder. I actually had a recent battle with cyano/hair algae. Like a week or two after i started dripping kalk, the sand has been as clean as new. I'm using the two little fishies brand and it says that it precipitates phosphates. Now i kinda believe that it does since the algae cleared up. Anyone have some input on this??

I know after I recently started dripping kalk, it, along with a lot of other subtle changes, reduced the red slime. Now it is almost all gone.

Yea kalk does wonders , but seriously if you're having an algae problem try dripping kalk, its worth a shot.
Anywho, some more pics, different views

shrimp in his spot

enjoy...

I have a coral beauty, no nipping either. If you keep them fed, you'll be alright!

Those clowns seem to be begging for an anemone! Hosting the GSP and a leather. Get them a BTA of some sort! Mine have a RBTA and a long tentacle and it took them all of about 45 minutes to find them when I added them. If you are going to get one you should get it soon so (hopefully) it will find a spot it likes before you start adding alot of SPS. Then you wont have to move them later when you add an anemone and it loves the spot you had picked out for your acro.
