The bubble tip started out in my 46 gallon...but the clown fish in there was beating the hell out of it...and it about died because it was so small...so I got them a bigger one... and put the bubbletip in the 65...since my clowns already had an anemone...they leave it alone..and he's been happy ever since...I've thought about moving him back into the 46 gallon though..as it is pretty empty... not sure if I will...

Would have to get to him..he is attached to some LR where I can't reach him atm.

I'm planning on using a 3 inch bed of Southdown seeded with live sand and about 90lbs of Indo or Fiji live rock.

Thanks!
I used Caribsea Aragonite sand. I bought sand that was supposed to be "Southdown" but it didn't even look close to it so I took it out and bought the expensive stuff.

I want to go halide but I have that stupid center brace in the middle of the tank. I figured 1 250 watt might be enough. Have any of you removed the brace on your tank?

Otherwise I'll probably go with 2 150 watts on either side.

I was just doing some research on removing the brace and it doesn't look like something I would want to try. Especially since the tank is filled.

I think your right...2 x 250 would be my best option. Thanks.

I took a picture of my tank. The diatoms that had almost completely covered the sandbed are gone but now I'm getting some algae on the top of the rocks. I don't have any snails in the tank yet to help control it. I have a few corals in the tank. The macro algae is in there to help control the nuisance algae. It will eventually be removed.

Here's mine!

Tank is ~ 5 months old. It has a Sail fin tang, 2 percs, and a Coral Beauty. Misc corals in the tank.

I wanted the tank to be viewable on 3 sides. The longer sections of the tank is viewable from the wall, and behind the wall.

--- I didn't clean the glass before I took the pictures.

Alright i think where going to have to change this up to keep this thread going... So now what i want to see is macros or close ups of fish, corals, etc. as a lot of the posts where full tank shots. You can show anything that is with in the system, even hitch hikers you may have found in the tank.

I'd also like to see the refugiums you guys got going on these tanks, Who's got the biggest fuge?

COMMON PPL YOUVE GOT THE CHANCE TO BRAG ABOUT YOUR TANKS HEAR.

Nice green zoas, I picked up a couple nice zoo rocks today. Green on green, reds skirt (pinky? center cant really remember), yellow/orange center green skirts. I'll take some picks tomorrow or when they open which could be in some time as they were in the bags for 6 hours and then i did a 20 min double dose dip. I also picked up a very nice red lobo, Also picks tomorrow or so.
