Here are a few pics taken at the December 06' meeting.

First: A beautiful Hammer Coral (Euphyllia Parancora). This is one of the largest hammer colonies I've been able to see in this hobby, and even better than that, it has an awesome "rosette" pattern that I've not witnessed before in person until this. His cool black and white clowns were seen hosting in this just minutes before the photo.

Second: This is just a nice shot, showing off a variety of fish that call this massive display their home.

And Third: Heres a large Sabae anemone that looks simple awesome in this setup. Again, largest I've seen in person. Can't wait until my tank ages enough to have colonies and livestock like Pauls. Enjoy!

Thanks Alien.

I have had lots of help doing this tank from many many people and have appreciated everyones input on the design, development and physical process of getting the tank up and running. Its still a ways to go, but thats just my perception of where its at now and how i want it to look in the future.

As for TOTM..I have no idea. But I appreciate the compliment.

---once again, thanks to everyone for taking an interest, posting comments and helping out.

Adam, great pictures. Very nice. I really like to see other peoples shots of my tank, they often focus on things I dont...such as that hammer. Thats Lynn's favorite coral. Im not a huge fan of LPS so rarely tank pics of that coral.

Thanks,

Paul.

I remembered you saying that to me once before. Let Lynn know that's why I got the picture . I'm a big LPS fan so I tend to focus on them as well. That and it's really an awesome looking hammer. I've heard oodles of compliments on not only that picture, but from other members who saw it at the meeting.

It was nice seeing you, Lynn, and the tank last night. I enjoy chatting with you, especially the funny stories. Plus, everytime I'm there I come up with new ideas I can use with my reef.

The other LPS i have in my tank are all doing well. i have another hammer as well as a few frogspawns. The hammer in your pic has grown from a frag with about 3-4 heads on it. I did like the way it make rosettes.
Heres a pic of my latest addition, a yellow leather from Max. I measured across the cup, just under 12 inches.

I don't remember how it works. I think it was something like tell who it is, a smidge about the tank, links, references, and pictures. We'll have to get a Mod in here to explain in better detail. They have a nifty little banner image that they use. It basically points you to here though: http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumd...s=&forumid=189

I can't get the spacing right, but the functionality is the same.

Sadsak, i dot think my tank is mature enough really, the corals really need to get growing more and expand ad fill the space a little more. The tank is really on 7 months old.....now when its 2 years old....that I cant wait for.....

Paul.
