Is that an island? I didn't know it was an island there. I have some friend they used to live there and it was very nice. Clean, secure, accessible, lost of places near and easy to get everywhere from there.

Just take a map and drive around. You are going to find lots of things to do.

WOW I started the 4th page

Hi David, My name is David and I live in a neighborhood just borth of Raymond James Stadium. I can walk there within minutes. now The Immediate bay area does not have any kind of coral reefs or anything like that, but there are a variety of seagrass beds immidietaley within your area. in fact Mobbley bay has some seagrass beds on the northern part, and thats only literally a stones thrwo away. you can access from SR60 or even upper tampa bay park, which you are literally only a few minutes south of.

also, tarpon springs is in pinellas county, only like 20-30 minutes from your location and also has wonderful aquatic scenery if you are diving or snorkeling. The town is home to the largest thriving live sponge industry in the western hemisphere. check it out.

Davis welcome to Tampa your coming at the best time of the year. Fall is perfect, not to hot and not to cold! We live in Tarpon Springs near Howard Park and the Sponge docks and as the other David mentioned, it's worth the visit.

My husband owns Holiday Aquariums. Lots of talk about our store here. We have had it a little over a year and it has been just like the tanks we have owned, slowly watching it grow and get better everyday. Alvis (the owner) worked at the store before buying it, because aquariums are his favorite thing...maybe a bit of an addiction. I don't know if he is the cheapest but he is fair and does this purely out of passion. When you love what you do it shows in your work.

Have a great day everyone.

Welcome David! I found out early that people are very passionate about their LFS, and usually for good reason.

The area is nice, very nice! .... and I hope you enjoy it here. Many people can tell you the quietest, loudest, most fun, most environmental, most secluded or just popular places to be. Feel free to ask, and hopefully you won't find anymore 20 yr old 6th graders on the forums.

We're all here to help each other and are glad you are here to join the fun!

Laine

OH I wish I taught there I love the place. Very very friendly campus and staff! They really are doing some great things in Tally! I wish I was going there now too - computers and science = top notch these days. Enjoy your time, and soak up every second you spend there!
