4 tablespoons of what? KCl tablets ground up?
Did the bottle list any ingredients aside from KCl?

One thing keeps bothering that the K-Balance doesn't say what in that bottle. They just say it has been proven. I hope the KCL will be proven soon too.

All the Zeovit didn't list any ingredients aside on the bottle. Are they legal to sell these in US? Anyone is working for CAl OSHA or FDA, please welcome.

Looks like a good choice. One thing keeps bothering that the K-Balance doesn't say what in that bottle. They just say it has been proven. I hope the KCL will be proven soon too. Yes, that makes it hard to know what is causing any effect. I use the same one as Bebo with same result. Which result? The colors?

yes, I was able to save my Lengsy cap. It was almost completely bleached out. I don't know if Bebo pay attention to this issue or not that when my tank had low Potassium (around 200), whenever I did water change, the next day, one of the acro RTN and I lost it overnight. I am sure that Bebo asked that question on the other forum.

You should contact Cal Osha for this happend. By the time you should visit your doctor. You might get skin cancel if you keep put your hand in the water. http://www.dir.ca.gov/DOSH/dosh1.html |

How do you know the nutrients are not too low? My understanding is that zeo seems to keep corals half starved, and that is why they may be more colorful, since the zoox (which are a golden brown color) are lower than "normal".

i test my water 3 times a week and i test the water that i am "changing" at least 2 times to make sure that it is correct in every facet. Its a pita but the "WOW" factor when people see the colors is worth it imo

my 2 cents, if you can get you tank close to NSW, no matter what method you go for, your tank will look good. That's why I am learning to Zeolith which requires less work and at least, their products label what in there.

Has anyone figured out how much 1 teaspoon will raise 100 gallons? Based on what I am seeing here I came up with 22 teaspoons to raise my level from 325 to 380ish in 350 gallons net. On another forum someone said I would only need 33 grams! Can anyone confirm my math?

To raise 100 gallons by 100 ppm, you need 38 grams of potassium, or 72 grams of potassium chloride. In your case you'd need 139 grams. That number of teaspoons might be about right.

1 tsp will raise 25ppm on 100g.

What we need to make up now, is a stock solution so that we can weekly dose and not have it go up too much.. After we get it to around 380....

FWIW, NSW has about 400 ppm, so if you are bothering to monitor and dose, I'd target 400 ppm.

I tested my 15g IO water change and the K is around 300, I just need to add .5 tsp to bring it up the K to 400.

But do we know if it get used up by anything in the tanks? Or do the levels go down by water changes without adding it?
