my mistake i thought the impeller was stuck to .

Another thing worth mentioning is that these things choke up without the presence of air- IMO that says that they DON'T move water as well as the standard impeller or neeledwheel....thoughts?

I have notice that too. The have a hard time moving at all without
the venturi allowing air.

Michael, do you have a contact for the sicce pumps without the skimmer?

Mike i am working on something now when i get some answer maybe we can get a group order in very good price.

i am not think to build 18" skimmer diameter don't have the place for that and it's will be hard to sell it to .

maybe on this sunday i will meet a friend and then we will make some test on my sicce pump i want to find the best way to connect the pump to the skimmer without a back pressure like that i will not lose a lot of air .

i have some idea and i know i want it to be but i want to make some test to find the best option to mount or how to connect or to run the pump on the skimmer .

What would be neat is a short 24" total height x 18" with a 12" diameter diffuser chamber and the two of the sicci pumps sitting inside the diffuser chamber pulling 2400 LPH total. That way you'd actually have a smaller outside diameter than if you had pumps mounting outside of the skimmer and it would be quieter as well....

kent i don't want the pump inside the diffuser (we like to play with the skimmer and it's will be hard after that).

by the way you can't hear the sicce they are complete silence .

i want to make it no more then 30" high , today my it's about 20" and going to be 24" . it's not enough for 3 pump. and i thinking on 4 pump .

today i pull easy 1850LPH .

No everyone appreciates your help and testing, for the sicce pumps you seem to have the hook up a lot more then others. I looked everywhere for those pumps or close and couldn't find anything.

Yeah you couldn't put the pumps inside due to the power cords but it would be kinda neat in theory anyway....
