The "finding nemo tank" is totally do-able-- in a tank that is about 500G+++ and tons of hiding places. If you're thinking about replicating that exact same tank in the Dentist's Office then no it will NOT work (that tank looks like a Petco 29G)

Do NOT replicate the cartoon. The way it was portrayed in the movie, it was so simplified as to not confuse the kids who will watch it.

I was thinking of setting up like a 125g tank and replace the moorish idol with a wimple fish and NOT include the puffer and connect it to my existing sump. I would like to know if this would work so i dont go and spend all my money and waste it

Why all the bumps?

People that are interested in the thread at this point will have subscribed. I keep checking back when I get a notice, and all it says is bump.

I had a 210 Gal with a Nurse Shark, Nemo, Poor mans Moorish Idol, Puffer, Yellow tang, Choc Starfish.

Unfortunaly, the Royal Gramma, cleaner shrimp, and the damsel got eaten.

I got the Nurse shark as a 5-6 incher, a 2-3 inch nemo, a 8 inch tall 5 inches wide poor mans moorish, a 2 inch balloon puffer, a 6-7 inch yellow tang, and a regular sized choc starfish.

Everything was actually okay. Until I had to give the shark away as it was getting too big and just made a regular FOWLR tank
