The only downside of reefing IMO is that it can be hard to keep angels and triggers!

Kudos for trying it Hop!

Not exactly sure... But I'm a little nervous. He is hitting the milli, tri and monti. I've had a net sitting in the tank for a few hour hoping he'll get used to it, cause catching it was rather pathetic on my part...

I wish you luck and I hope that he is just testing things out and will calm down.

I've caught angels before, and it has always involved removing rock from the tank. (( along with lots of cursing and smokes. ))

The only fish that is easy for me to catch is clowns, since mine always tried to hide in their anemone.

I'll keep him, just not in the big tank He can hang out with what ever else I decide to put in the cube

Sad thing is I could have caught every other fish in the tank other than the fox face and the coral beauty

My clown is anemone challenged... He has not even looked at it But he will swim in the net.

I'll probably build one tonight or tomorrow. I think I have enough acrylic lying around.

Awww, I am as happy as my clowns are now that I moved an anemone into their tank.

Well the Coral Beauty won round one But I did find a little time to take some pics...
I can't seem to get full tank shots. I'm going to have to go back to the basics and do some reading. I'm sure it's something simple that I am forgetting:

Oh and I wanted to add since it was a major issue before... Even without the headspace completely sealed yet... Humidity in the headspace w/o the fans running climbs to about 51%... With fans running it depends upon the weather, but the house is staying nice and cozy in the 30% range. No sweating of the windows aside from cooking and showers

Great shots as usual. Good luck catching the coral beauty, it would be shame to have to pull down everything.

Cheers

Thanks Chris! I don't think I can pull everything down without some serious work. Most everything is epoxied together

You shower? Might have to stop if you get humidity issues

Lunch... The Box fee was over $40 a piece plus shipping, which meant about $180 to send those... So we DID NOT do that! The wife said she has Wednesday off and will look for boxes... That was a ridiculous price to ship things, not a deal for you at all! So we are working on it!

Brian,

There is one at the top of the last set of pics from yesterday... It really doesn't do the tank justice though... I need to figure out how to get the sharpness. The ones I stitch together look horrible, so that one was taken in raw and then edited to mimic the colors from the two sides, but it doesn't have the clarity or depth to see the corals that are actually in the tank. 2 of the frags I got Friday are pretty big. The Tri is about 5" and the monti is about 4... But they look so small and without color in the FTS

My philosophy for catching fish...ANY fish...is the same philosophy that I use with my kids...put out enough food and sooner or later they will come running!!

LOL. He was much better today... I'm watching him closely...

I got distracted with rebuilding my website to fit better since the 800 gallon build will not happen. Playing with css and trying to make it a lot better When it's done it will be easier to navigate and have a lot more features

It would be good if you didn't have to catch it .

Looking forward to seeing your website finished, should be good.

Cheers
