When Matt and I sold our World of Warcraft Accounts earlier this year, we used the money and got ourselves a new washer and dryer.
We picked up the Whirlpool front loaders, and they have been wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! Our old dryer took about 3 hours to dry one load, and these ones take 34 minutes. It's been a godsend.

Also...
What I learned when we were researching a new washer and dryer is to stay clear of any with the digital controls. From what I've read is that the digital controls are prone to failure and cost some major $$$ to replace.

Wonderful!
Hope you've got extra guys and a heavy duty hand truck. That washer weighs a TON. It took two beefy guys to get it installed and they warned me to pick carefully where I put it because it wouldn't move easily. I can't budge it even an inch when I try to lean in and push it. I have Kenmore Super Capacity 3.5 and I love them. WHITE
We didn't buy the bases for them either. Hubby built one out of plywood for around $40. It got two drawers in it too.
