How old is this tank?
And that star is getting so much nutrition from that glass . He may take some raw shrimp.

For filtration I am running a 20g sump with filter sock, bubble wall, 20watt pc flourescent over Chaetomorpha macroalgae, euro-reef rs-135 skimmer, visa-therm stealth heaters, mag drive 7 return pump. I have two hydor korilia's providng flow inside the tank along with a spilt outlet nozel on the return pipe. For lighting over the tank I am using a current usa sunpod hqi w/pheonix 14k double ended bulbs. 100-115lbs of live rock, 80lbs of fiji pink live sand. ...i am probably forgeting something so if there is any other questions just let me know.
Good set up. The tank should do well...

hi

how much live rock do you have? in order for the rock to work properly you need at least 1.5 lbs per gal of premium rock yours looks to be fiji lr wich you might need 2-2.5 lbs per gal as fiji lr is not as porus as others but nice tank my dad has a 180 ciclid tank and i love it he also has a marjuan i think its called or a dragon fish i dont know but it looks cool

I have about 100-115 lbs of live rock. I am thinking of removing the filter sock....what is everyone's opinion. I read the other thread on them but it didn't really help. I am still back and forth on it .
