are you worried about it not performing up to par as it won't be really testing the skimmers capacity?

I appreciate the compliment but my skimmer is no where near the quality of a SPAZZ skimmer. I do take some pride in that I built it myself, but that was only because I couldn't get one from Scott.

Nice temps. That bodes well for the future. My tank is at 77.5F with the lamps off right now.

It's not a question of winning, it's a question of having the best unit you can afford that fits your husbandry practices, right? And now I want to modify my skimmer...I'll be doing it in January (hopefully) and I think I will once again approach Skimming Happiness!

I think it would be fun to own a gaint square skimmer that pukes up some nasty sludge.

So every time some one pops up in the DIY section and says "Square skimmers never work" or "air driven skimmers those are SO weak"

You just light them up with some nog pics and they get very quiet....priceless

That and having a skimmer that is large enough to need its own algae magnet

Any nog yet nyvp?

That is great. I wonder how much of a bump you are going to get when we get the real FL heat back.
