Here is a photo from xmas night. We took my mom up there and snuck in to show her around. They have drywalled the entire house which was amazing to see in only a few days.

Yea, I will get you another Ocean action shot. For now, here's one of me investigating the new house. I don't remember what I was looking at, but I was on it! lol.
I know exactly what you're lookin' at. All the places your could put a tank, and where the Sugar Gliders will perch between gliding.

Nice hat. You're going to have to wear it from now on.

Very impressive looking house NG I have yet to have a house built for me, but it would be nice to have a house no one else has lived in before and built to my/wifes design. I hope everything goes smooth for you through to completion

Bet you can't wait to move in!

Oh yea....Ocean Pic's..... When ever you have time

Thanks! Yea, it's going to be a lot of work but we've been waiting a long time. We started planning and thinking about it like seven years ago so it's been a process for sure.

I'll get you some photos =)

Cool! I love building then moving to a new house. Looks like you have plenty of can lights in the (?) kitchen. Is it connected to the family room? I see a perfect excuse for a three sided tank as a room divider.

Yea, that's the kitchen and the family room is right next to the kitchen. There is a small half wall that we left, that would actually be perfect if that was taken out and a tank placed there =)

I do agree I think that spot would fit nicely for a tank right there..making it viewable from both sides. As long as it fits in a 5-6' tank right?

G'day Ng,

Looks like your building yourself a decent size home there

The trend here in Australia, where I live anyway, is to build small houses for quick turnnover, and they sell quick. I don't think people realise how small these house are, no room to grow as a family.

At least your going to have plenty of room for all your pets and aquariums

Hi!

Thanks... yea, it's a big home. We have lived in small townhouses and even a basement for some time before we finally moved to our current house which is small and a rehab house... so the new house is our final destination I hope! I think in the last seven years we've lived in six places..

It will be nice to move into a house we know we'll be there awhile. =)

I bet you can't wait to settle down. That's a lot of moving. I know what you mean about living in a small house Pain in the butt.

Have you been given a handover date? Hope for your sake it's not to far off.

That is a sweet size house. I am planning on moving further north in afew years or so. I will be looking for something that size with a basement. We dont have basements in FL, at least the majority of homes don't. Really Nice congrats again..

Thanks =) Yea, a basement is really nice. Our basement is really big which makes it nice for what we wanted to do. We actually lived in a basement for a year about 1/3 the size of this basement.

Media room/area with projector.

Opposite side. Far wall was where we were thinking in-wall.

Fish room. To the right of me is where we were thinking the tank. We had them install a dedicated circuit there.

Unfinished electrical/storage space.

My new glider room =)

We also have a full bath in the basement and a storage closet.
