The ventilators are an important constituent at the light. The active cooling spares not only electronics but the bulbs forms of the optimal temperature range simultaneously what means in the result for an increase of the efficiency of more than 15% compared with the models without cooling.
Does the place you purchased this ATI Powermudule from have a website?

iwan, your diagram of youir tank shows a 'mechanical filter', please give details of this. Oh, and by the way, gorgeous tank.

Greg, this is rather simple.
With the mechanical filter I remove rough dirt particles.
The filter medium is filter cotton, this is already everything.

You also see a phosphate filter and a Si filter on the graphic.
I don't operate the phosphate filter any more.
The Si filter only at proof of silicat.

Hi Iwan

Inspired by your tank, I'v been dosing Prodibio Digest, Trace and Boost for about a month now. My NO3 and PO4 levels are 0, and the skimmer is not taking out much waste - is this your experience also?

I'm very pleased with the effect on my tank - thank you for the idea

Simon

I think the main factors are the light and the water quality. I do not use a zeovit system (I dosage only some components of it)! My system contains a DSB and the dosage of bacteria and feeding of the bacteria.
Unfortunately, there isn't a component which is the cause.
It is the interplay of many factors.

Hi Simon,

I am pleased to read about your satisfaction with the Prodibio products. The continuous dosage of the products will reduce the nutrients to a very deep level. The bacteria-population will increase and the nitrification and denitrification more effective.

I profit from the same positive effects as you describe.

I regulate my skimmer in that way that I have wet foam in the collection cup. It is difficult for me to make a quantitative statement about this factor.

Hi Iwan,

Have you ever tried the new generation of ATI AquaBlue special and Blue plus bulbs? As I know, the former manufacturer Narva is no longer supplying T5 bulbs to ATI. And ATI is finding a new lighting manufacturer to produce their bulbs. Just wonder how is the quality of these new bulbs? I know some German aquarists are working on the evaluation report and will publish shortly.
