If your idea of a family photo is your family all kneeling infront of your tank.......you might be a reefneck

If your christmas cards have a tropical theme to give you an excuse to send a pic of your tank.......you might be a reefneck

I haven't had a chance to read the entire thread at work so I hope knowone said this......

For christmas you ask for gift certificates to local and online reef vendors instead of any other gift, and become upset if you do receive a sweater. (True story for me)......you might be a reefneck.

You might be a reef neck if the AC is set to 64 and you always wear a winter coat just to avoid buying that chiller

"If you had to move your TV because the glare from your tank disrupted the picture . . . . ."

foghorn, I actually took the TV out of my living room because of this. KBMdale can witness there is not one in the room!

There are so many of these that are true about me!

The one I didn't see is also true:

If you file for divorce and make sure she can't get custody of the tanks.

If the CEO of your company refers to you as Jacque CuSto, and sends you pictures when he returns from a dive trip so you can identify the fish......

You might be one if you have his entire series of oceanography encyclopedias (which I do).

Don't know if this has been said before (I didn't have enough time to read it all):
You might be a reefneck if you spend more time with your tank than with your friends...if you even have any left .

I have 3 IV pumps sitting in my closet. I got'em when my hospital was throwing them away.
"Sure, I'd be glad to help you dispose of those."
Also got a variable speed pump, originally used to wash out endoscopes, set-up on timer for auto top-off, acclimation and water changes.

You might be a reefneck if...
You are given the choice of being your own boss or working for someone and you choose to work for someone because the job would be closer to the LFS.
I did.

You might be a redneck if...

You've come up with the same reasons as everyone else has so far.

I you consider dating the LFS owners daughter in order to get a "family" discount.

I'm kidding, I swear!

You might be a reefneck if you'd sell yourself for frags.

If you have ever stuck your scuba mask on when noone was looking and put you face in your tank just because you had to know what your tank looked like underwater.......You might be a reefneck

If you were caught doing by your spouse and they said " I wanna see"......then chances are they are a reefneck too....lol

Hahahaha, I'm sorry to say that this is true for me, I keep my house at 70 so the tank stays at 79. All my friends complain about how cold it is when they come over.
