hey angus! just wanted to let you know we cut the yuma oohoh..lol we only cut the feet...so now we have a loose yuma with netting over her on a rock so she can reattach herself to the rock. she seems to be doing decently okay...expelled some zooxanthelle the first day but since then no real problems...like you reccomended, we were very gentle in cutting it and the pain went by very quickly! thanks for your help

Now we have two other rocks with a combined total of three mini feet on them so I am hoping to end up with a total of four yumas...I am hoping that they will grow!!

Wow! So you do 5 (20L) gallon water changes 2-3x a week? Impressive That must get real expensive! What salt brand do you use?

I usually change 5(20L) gallon natural sea water once 5 or 7 days. Sometimes I use tropical marine salt with DI water.

Those are awesome!
Are they micros?
And do you have a close-up pic of that neon green thing in the last picture?
Is it a mushroom?

Absolutely beautiful tank, nicer than some of the 100 gallons I have seen. Keep up the amazing work.

About your fish....................that's a lot of fish for a 30............any tang NEEDS a tank of at least 120 gallons............but for now he or her, and the rest of your fish seem to be doing very well.

Hey angus, do you have any advice for trying to get a loose yuma to stick onto a rock?

I have a loose yuma with netting wrapped around her for a week now and she had a tiny bit of her foot stuck at one point but is now loose again. I'm afraid she won't attach to the rock! thx angus

Firstly absolutely amazing pictures!!!! You need to post in the photography forum!!!

Finished reading this entire thread. What happened to the Regal tang?

Two things as a heads up:
>1. The Twin Spot- how is he doing with your corals? They get to be 2 feet long, and are not said to be reef safe.............
>2. The Regal Angel HAS to have an aquarium of at least 100 gallons due to the fact that they can reach 10". And they too are also said to be non-reef safe. What have you noticed/be doing to keep him off the corals? However there may be no problem with him with he corals depending on what sea he came from................

Absolutely beautiful!

Do you think you could stand back a couple feet from your setup and take a picture? I'd like to get an idea of what the whole package looks like. Thanks.

reefman13- He got rid of his blue tang a while ago. His regal angel did not make it.
AND sweet new corals anguswu.
