What's the problem Hystrix?

After you open the image page in RC, right-click on the actual photo and click "Properties"...then drag over the address..copy it and paste it in an IMG tag, or used the IMG button.

If I click on a picture I don't have a properties option. I do have one if I right click anywhere off the picture?

I don't know. Maybe it's your browser?! Are you using AOL? I haven't used it in years.

I click on your link there and it shows me the image. I RIGHT-click my mouse right on the image and I get a pop-up menu. The last item on the pop-mene is "Properties". I left click on "Properties" and I get a property dialoge window that shows file type, address, etc...then I hightlight the address (http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/...38P3050027.jpg) and put it in an image tag.

Make sure the address ends in ".jpg" (or some other image format). The link you have up there is a .php (right before the "?")..that's a web page (with code)..not an image.

I'm using IE 6.0.

gkmartinez...That address isn't on the web..it's just a file name: "dscf0094.jpg". You need to upload the image somewhere..either here on RC (which has a limit on size) or some image sharing place that allows remote linking. ...or your own website if you have one.

I created a web page on angelfire but that is the extent. So I send the picture there and from there to here? Sounds easy enough...yeah, right!

If you have the image on anglefire (and they allow external linking..don't know if they do) just right click on the images and pick "properties" and get the "Address." Once you have the address of the image on Anglefire, you can just paste that address as a sort of link in here. Use the IMG button in the post screen and give it the address when it asks for it.

You're not really sending the image anywhere else..it still sits on Anglefire, you just send my browser to go get it on Anglefire, but I don't know the difference. The image below is from my web site...it has nothing to do with RC, I've never uploaded it to RC, I just send you to my site for the image...kind of like the images you get in spam mail...you don't really get the image, just a link. If I ever remove the image from my site, it will disapear from this post (be a red X).

Right click on the image below and choose "properties" and you'll see where the image is REALLY from.
