Charleston Reefers Club - Library

The purpose of this thread is for club members to post what books they have in their own personal libraries that they want to share with other members of the club.

The rules: (Unless otherwise disagreed upon by the members of the club)
Please post your disagreements in this thread

1. You may only borrow a book for up too 30 days.
- We would prefer that you return the book within 14 days so that the original owner may use his/her own book and allow other membes to check out the book.

2. While the borrowed book is in your possesion it is your responsibility.
- Basically, you break it, you bought it. Please work out disputes for damages off board. If it comes to a point that I need to say something, I will. But we're all adults here, so just be responsible.

3. You must be an active member to participate in the library.
- Active is defined as attending at least one meeting.

4. Storage: Books in our library will be stored at the owners expense and will not be centrally located.

5. When listing your library list it like below please.

Here's my list of books:
Julian Sprung - Corals: A Quick Reference Guide
Eric Borneman - Aquarium Corals

OK, here goes my list. Some of these are text books of mine that I have found usefull when wanting to look something up. And trust me, all of these somehow pertain to our tanks.

Landau: Introduction to Aquaculture (text)
Allen & Steene: Indo-Pacific Coral Reef Guide (good for ID's)
Fenner: Conscientious Marine Aquarist
Sprung: Invertebrates A Quick Reference Guide
Rupert & Barnes: Invertebrate Zoology (text)
"International Experts": Encyclopedia of Fishes (sounds cheesy, but a very cool "text")
Cousteau: The Ocean World
Randall, Allen, & Steene: Fishes of the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea (awesome)
Sprung: Algae: A Problem Solver Guide
Ruppert & Fox: Seashore Animals of the Southeast
Tullock: Natural Reef Aquarium
Wilkerson: Clownfishes
Peterson Field Guide: Atlantic Coast Fishes
Helfman, Collette, & Facey: Diversity of Fishes (text)
Pough, Heiser & McFarlant: Vertebrate Life (text)
Jones & Bartlett: Oceanography (text)
J.Z. Young: The Life of Vertebrates (text)
Cambell: Biology (text)
Eckert: Animal Physiology (text)
Harris: Exploring Chemical Analysis
(text-good for understanding pH etc)
