February Meet and Frag Swap

I am offering to host the February meet/swap. Last one at my place was a success and had a lot of you come, so it is about that time again. I am looking at Saturday, February 16th or 23rd. The 16th would be best unless a lot of you can't make it that day. I would also like to setup a group buy or raffle depending on everyones interest. There is a lot of time between now and then so we can discuss and see what will work best for all. I will provide some snacks/food, Soda, and start the beer, you all bring whatever and more beer

My 12 year old daughter will be there so kids are OK.

I would plan on starting around 5 or 6 and running until whenever the last person leaves.

i have no idea if i can make either day......my weekends during the winter are up in the air....b/c if there is good snowboarding weather i'm usually headed to the slopes on a moments notice.

but as far as a group buy.....i'd like to get in on an aussie acan group buy if possible. i think that would be cool. but in order for it to work it would probably have to be about $50-$60/person since we'd have to buy by the colony, and then split the colonies up into larger frags.

I am up for that as the Rainbow did not make it. The only one from the swap that didn't, but after about four days the tissue was completely gone. Still have the skeleton in the tank hoping that by some miracle something might be left and regenerate . I would be willing to try and coordinate an Acan/ LE Chalice Group buy as a separate buy from a standard SPS/LPS buy. As you said though to do a Acan lord buy or and LE chalice buy we would be looking at 40-50 a person where a SPS/LPS buy would be 10-20 per person. I will start another thread in a week or so to discuss the options for the buys.

Ok, will all of the confusion I have decided that I will only be doing a SPS/LPS buy if anyone is interested. I figured I would get 20 or so frags from Reefermadness or another site. Depending on how many people will commit. I will start a thread Saturday and run for one week to see how many people would be in for it. If there is enough, I will provide the paypal address and the amount. If 20 people go in then it amounts to approx 10.00 a person, 10 people 20.00 a person and so on. If there is not enough interest then the idea will just be canned and we will drink beer, eat some food and shoot the BS. I am sure there will be local frags to trade and buy also.
