What is your favorite fish?

I am looking into a new fish population for a new tank I'm planning and I have a few on my short list. They include a Sohal, a black and a yellow belly blue tang. What are some of your favs?

Thanks

I hope it is a large tank Mark as Sohal's tend to kill their competiton in tanks smaller than 240 IME sooner or later. I really like the wrasses such as the exquisite, xmas, linneatus ect. I also think that even though they are only 12 bucks on average the Mandarin might be the prettiest fish there is. I want details on your new system

Hey Paul, I am looking into a 180. I am the "quote" process right now. I got a nice H&S skimmer for it, but it arrived cracked, so that gives me a little more time.

I am also a big fan or wrasses. I will be transferring my radiant and my leopard, but the six line will not make the new team.

I also love my school of lyretails; 1 male, 1 submale, and three females.

I am still undecided on my flamehawk and my black clowns.

I'm absolutely in love with the male blue-jaw trigger that I got at the Christmas party...he's like a puppy; so inquisitive and curious....loads of personality, all that and s he's absolutely beautiful to boot.

For larger tanks, I like Sohals or Vlamingi Tangs.

My personal favorite, that I can actually own, is a Red Sea Sailfin/Desjardini Tang.

Mark,

How about a pair of Hawaiian or Tongan Flame Wrasse? Those fish are amazingly beautiful.

My current favorite is a tie between my bicolor blenny (for personality) and my sixline wrasse (for his wierd flashing at his own reflection dance). As for my ultimate fish, i'd have to say a passer angel. But since the passer is very, very, very rarely collected anymore i'll probably never have one.

There are so many with amazing color.
I guess if the 6 line didn't make the team, neither will a Strawberry Dottyback... these two are at the top of my list, but tend to be aggressive.

Barbara, I have a strawberry dottyback I will be selling. Let me know if your interested.

Since I've never had fish, my list is solely based on what looks cool to me, not on personality. and sInce threads are WAY better with pix....

Mark, as far as smaller fish go, my Tailspot Blenny has an awesome personality and is beautiful. I also have a female solar wrasse who is awesome. Fairy wrasses are the best, reef safe and good looking. I'm planning on a crapload of fairy wrasses in my 150.....
