i need to move my clown & anemone
ive had a white cap clown and a blue carpet in my reef for a couple years and i just cant stand how aggressive my clown is. i want to move them into their own tank and need some help. i have a 100g cube (29" deep) that i can use but really would rather something smaller. what would be the minimum size tank for this anemone. then what kind of lighting could i get away with. can i go t5 or should keep it under mh. currently it is in a very shaded area under a 400w xm.
any other advice is appreciated as i dont want to get rid of them. thank you shad

How large is the anemone? What kind of carpet is it? 29 deep w/ T-5 would be pushing it. On the other hand, a 40 gallon (16 deep or so) would be fine w t-5.

It would be fine in a 40 gallon breeder with t-5 ho's. In fact, I think that would make for a very satisfying setup.

Check out the new Current nova extreme pro. Very nice light fixtures. You could get a 36" fixture with 6 bulbs. They also come with individual reflectors. I think Im gonna give the 6' fixture a shot.
