Here are some pictures of the tank and the current setup. We are still looking for sps and a ton of other things. We plan on keeping a ton of sps on the top and keeping softies and LPS on the bottom.

You might want to be careful putting your filter room with your furnace. It will start rusting. I originally had my filter in my furnace room and had to move it.

Depends on the material. Rust CAN form within 24 hours. Also, stainless steel can rust as well. Galvanized metal usually corrodes before rusting.

I don't know much about big setups but if you want someone to check for things such as large leaks, open pipes, missing glass panels, etc. I'm in. LOL If a group is going to check things out just let me know. I have seen the forest thru the trees. Or is that the other way around?

A reactor might not be necessary. Depending on the direction of the tank, it maybe easier for you to just do a kalk doser. The PM kalk doser is (IMO) a nice one.

Is that a standard strip light on the back of the tank? For actinics? I would recommend a pair of 6' VHOs.

The 3rd pic- Frags? Either way, please drop that light a little! Atleast a foot or two.

1st pic- Stand up straight! You're gonna have a sore back by the time you're my age! JJ

Marco and I are planning on doing a SPS top. and and Softies on the bottom. So a Reactor might be needed for the SPS and everything and anything I read said that having a Calcium Reactor makes a world of difference when it comes to SPS. I would also like to know what else can we do to start an explosion of pods in the Sump/Fuge area in the back. As far as the reactor now sure as to how to set it up or which one to get.

When you say 3rd pics the frags what do you mean bring the light down a foot or two ? If we bring the tank lights down any farther they would be in the water

1st Pic but its soo comfortable to stand like that I wouldn't have it any other way

Re: more pics

I have an sps dominated tank with no reactor, so it is possible. Since you are unfamiliar with reactors, I merely suggested an easier route where you wouldn't need anyone to set it up for you. Also, some sps keepers have even chosen to run a calcium and a kalk reactor. I'm glad I don't need either.

This is the pic I was talking about:

Looks like the light is very high....

Ohh. Did not mean to insult. I thought with the bluer bulb that it may have been a frag tank, not a fuge since fuges benefit from whiter light. But I'm sure you already knew that. Also looks like a big piece of egg crate in there which is usually in a frag tank and not a fuge. But I'm sure you knew that too.

For someone that "NEEDS HELP", you don't seem to like suggestions on how to improve your tank...

Maybe its because I don't have "OT" in my title....

Sorry to waste your time.

Happy Reefing.

44reefkeeper no you did not insult me. Suggestions and help are deff needed if your in OT crew or not thanks for the suggestions. The blueness in the water is actually from two coralife moonlights those things do put alot of blue in the water. As far as the light goes its a 10k XM in there. That fuge area is a frag area as well. We don't have everything set in the sump area we would like to make it for filteration/fuge/minor frag area all in one. We would love for someone to help us design it and put us in the right direction. I apologize if I sound sarcastic or was coming off offensive, Marco and I would love some more ideas. Thanks guys
