Help with ID! LFS had it labeled incorrectly!
Can someone help with the ID on this coral. The LFS had it labeled as a branching goniopora, but it looks like a M. digitata. Can someone confirm please.

Thanks. I could not find anything that resembled it online as a goniopora, so I thought that they had it wrong. I was feeding cyclops, but did not see the polyps contract like they were feeding, but I did see them extend more. I guess I will have to try smaller.

Alveopora has less fingers on eash polyp. It is a goni.

Goniopora spp. Alveopora spp., as shown in the pic just above, have 12 tentacles per polyp, whereas Goniopora have 24. Though it is a bit blurry, there are more than 12 in chemistmike's pic.

Gonipora, not Alveopora. Count the number of tentacals on each polyp. Goni has 24 while an Alva will have 12.
