On my T5 box, it says Ocean Blue Actinic by Aqua Medic. Are you saying this lamp could/should be bluer if I stay with my same lamp? Thanks, Tim---- Also, the Giesemann mega chrome and XM are not rated well in your opinion?
Guisemann mega chrome is supposed to be a sweet lamp. XM's are also nice except for the 15K which has dismal PAR output. I have heard the Aquamedic T5's are not real good. The ATI/D&D Blue/Actinic plus (Same lamp, different brand names) are a very bright blue lamp that will put a lot of visble light into the tank. If your current T5's are dim or dull you could change over to the better lamps and get a much bluer look while keeping the 10K halide lamps.

www.reefgeek.com sells the good T5's and has some spectrum plots on the website for the lamps.
