lets see some a.humilis pics

I just picked up a humilis today and would like to see other humilis(s) and where you guys place it and how much flow it gets. Here's a pic of mine

cool corals .. very stable... SLOW growers though....I have one finally put on some branches after almost 2 yrs.

Lots of flow...these corals are found on the uper parts of the reef sometimes exposed to the open air.

i have it being blown on by my tunze 6100 only brown out in the tank

Heres my frag. its kind of a tri-color. It's got alot deeper purple tips now and nics green polyps.

I've got a purple Humilis frag that has actually grown VERY well for me. I got it about 6 mos ago about 3/4" long and now its well encrusted, I'd say bigger than a silver dollar and sprouting several new branches. The guy I got it from said it was a good grower from him as well.

I will post a pic later. Too lazy at the moment..

haha, wow, old old thread. My humilis definately doesn't look like that anymore. It completely browned and was recovering nicely until i just moved it two days ago. the blue faded again, but i'm not worried since it made a come back before.

Directly under 400 watt EVC 14k on HQI. Strong, chaotic flow. Not a slow grower in my tank. My colony is ~10" diameter.

pics look great.....how about of a huge a humilis? I think I have a A Humilis that I grew from a frag but I'm not sure....its starting to be a colony now.

Thanks Gabe. Here is a quick, feeble attempt at a pic of the full colony. The 1/2" float glass kills the color. Plus I didn't dig out the good camera.
