Well, to add an update on my tank, I got rid of my parrot fish today. I know they are a peaceful fish but this guy had no balls at all. He was the largest fish in the tank, yet he got chased around. He was never really beaten up by anyone but he was getting chased a lot and I figured he would enjoy life else where better. Plus who knows eventually he coulda gotten whooped! Here the last pic of it.

I gave away a juvie Bamboo shark cause it was the weakest fish in the tank. He couldnt get ANY food because of the groupers I have. I had to remove my shirt, and put the food in front of the sharks mouth just so he wouldnt starve to death. The shark is much happier and fatter in his new tank....

That's a truly beautiful fish, in my opinion the only one that competes/compares favorably (from a color standpoint) with the miniata.

How is yours as to aggression and remaining hidden in the LR, and what size tank is he in, with what for tankmates?

Kansas....that figures.

As long as you're using isolation/hospital tanks and the individual fish look OK, I'd personally not have any reservations.

You might get a GREAT deal and maybe save a life in the process.

I highly doubt that they are polleni's. I've been working in this industry for three years and this is the 1st one I've seen. The wholesale price on theses guys is much more than what I paid. I bet they are bluelines.

I bought a bumblebee grouper for 80 dollars, and from what I know they retail for 350-500 bucks. And Sharksme, you really didn't get that great of a deal hate to burst your bubble lol, many places will sell that fish for 100 bucks, actually same place I bought bumble had 4 in stock for 100 bucks. Liveaquaria is not a reliable to get information

ihatter, both you and I got super deals on our bumblebee groupers. The regular sale price usually hovers around the $250 to $400 range. You say you paid $80, I paid $150 for a 9 or 10 inch fish.

The Pollenis are more scarce and command higher prices. I would not hesitate to buy a nice specimen that was in the $250 to $400 range. These fish live 50 years. Thats less than $10 per year....
