So, I have a Roc Beauty Angel in my softies reef.
He's been in there for about 9 months. I swear to this. It was only yesterday for the very first time that I saw him picking at some of my zoas! He just wouldn't leave them alone. He has never done this before, and I had been watching him closely regarding this because I know they are a "with caution" type of fish. I'm worried now because he seems to have a taste for them. If this process continues, I may need to sell my favorite fish in my tank PM me in a week if you want me to keep you posted on the progress, but ya, until yesterday, he never did this. He's been in there for 9 months.

I am also telling you to be more receptive of the help/information you receive here. You originaly posted this on Christmas day and were then dissapointed when the only response you got was not exactly what you wanted to hear. The poster that you insulted and wrote off as unworthy was only trying to help. It is up to you to pick which info you will follow or what other paths people suggest you follow in order to find the answers you are looking for (like reading the TOTM post and possibly asking your question there).

In case you are curious as to what I have in my tank coral wise with my Rock Beaty Angel:
Xenia (lots of it), Green Star Polyps (lots of it), about 5 different zoa colonies, 5 different leathers, anthelia, mushrooms, 3 kenya trees, 2 RBTA's, frogspawn, hammer, and pink bird's nest. So that's what my angel was living well with until he started picking on one of my zoa colonies.

This old guy ( ) has told me many times that emperators have been good boys/girls in reef tanks. Maybe(with the positive comments) a blue face is worth a try?
I have only had dwarf angels because they are "reef safe".... Everyone I had, ate coral of some type or another. Good luck. Let us know what you decide to do. I'm also interested if he is good to go, so....
