I was using my autofocus for all the shots...I don't have a problem with it. I could disable it if I wanted to though. Having a nice camera helps but it still takes many, many, pictures to get a really good one.

Lisa,
Great pics! They looked good when you showed them to me on the back of the camera but look fantastic full size.

Was the last one of the Naso with your name in the corner the one that you said was published? Looks great.

J,
I think the camera is a Canon Rebel XTI

Thanks guys! It is a Canon Rebel Xti. My husband got it for my B-day this month. I have already taken over 1,000 pictures with it. It takes a lot of messing with it to figure out how to get the good shots but I think I have the fish down pretty well. I still only have the stock cannon lens that came with it. I will still need to get a good macro and telephoto lens when I can afford it.

Limpit, no the picture that I had published was a rose. My anemonee seems happy! it really looks good. Thank you!

Does he have cloudy eye? It looks like the 3rd from bottom pic of his other eye is blacker than the last 2. It could just be the flash, but just wanted to ask. I love achilles, nice fish.

No he can change his eye color to bright blue! I never knew they could do that but they can.

I have no idea. I didn't know Achilles could do it nor did I find anything on the internet about it. When I saw him do it I was surprised. It seems to be a sign of aggression.
