Yello Fiji Leather

Are these one of the safer leathers? I know a lot of leathers can be toxic. From looking at the liveaquaria.com site, I don't see any mention of toxicity with this species.

i believe its the sinularia that are toxic, fijis are sarchypton (ssp?) or something liek that, i believe people said tha thaving those can help SPS, but im nto positive, all corals can haev chemical wars, leathers just effect SPS more

they are only one of the more difficult leathers to keep. They just require more flow and stronger lighting. Mine is up high under the MH and with alot of current and happy.

I saw some gorgeous yellow Figi leathers at the LFS the other day. I was really tempted, but I've got other things on my list first.

Toxic to what? Mine is thriving in and among the SPS in my SPS dominated tank. I run ozone which might help.

Agree on the high light and flow for sucess.
