Pallys are good, kind of like zoanthids but different. Good corals.

Unless you wish to keep toxic animals -- meaning, toxic to humans by touch and potentially fatal if secretions swallowed or otherwise ingested -- out of your system. I, for one, regret having added zoanthids to my tank and wish I'd removed the palys when they first appeared out of my rock. But at this point, I'd have to remove all of my rockwork on my softies side and my wariness has not extended that far. Yet.

Worst case scenario
Dont eat the palys or allow the palys to squirt into your eyes, mouth or open cuts and you will live thru the hobby. I love them and have thousands in my tanks. They are very colorful and are one of the easiest to grow and spread in your tank.

Depends on your tolerance. Not right away. You'd want help fast though. Someone on here almost lost an eye a year or so ago. Can't recall who.

If you touch a rock with them when it is in the tank, and they slime onto your hands, and you forget to wash your hands off good.... risky. I now wash my hands thoroughly every time I do anything anywhere in my tank system. Anyone with zoas, palys, etc should do so as well. Shortcuts are playing with fire if you keep these animals.

Why would you want to kill off some zoos, looks like the tank has plenty of room. Check out the zoo forum and see how nice some zoos are and how many people have them, toxins and all

Like anything else one just needs to be careful. Check out the Zoo posts on the main RC page and the net in general for info on palytoxins, etc. and make your own, informed, decision as to what you want to do. Some people keep them, some don't.
