Okay guys, heres the deal. I am currently redoing our FO tank. Changing sumps, filters, substrate, etc....
Here is the info. Tank. 1100 gallons. 10ftx5ftx3ft Sumps, 4 100 gallon rubbermaids, one is a dedicated refugium, one will house the skimmers, one with some liverock. Return pumps, 2 md100 blue lines. 1500gph ea Closed loop Sequence dart 3600gph Lighting is currently 8 4 foot vho 4 10k 4 actinic Display is getting 2000lbs of sand There will be a rock structure with approx 500lbs of fiji liverock. There will be plenty of open swimming space. Current fish, 12" stars and stripes puffer 12" Durgeon trigger 8" Clown trigger 6" lunare wrasse 10" Blue spotted Unicorn tang 5" brown bird wrasse All of these fish do not need to be returned to the tank, but can. So, I want to here your ideas. What would you put in it? Some ideas I had were, angel tank, with several pygmy as well as lg angels. Sponge and gorgonion forest. Shark tank with a pair of eppaulettes. Lets here your ideas!

Where is all these monster tanks coming from all of a sudden? I'd do a couple sharks and some large angels and tangs.

Look at my job.
As far as your suggestion, angels and sharks don't mix.

I don't think there's any doubt that large angels look best in large aquariums. With that much room I would head in that direction. Queen angel, Emperor, Blueface, the list goes on and on. I think wrasses would be good space fillers. Angels don't move that fast, but wrasses do. Additionally, some wrasses act as cleaners to the fish and others sift sandbeds. There's my .02.

Get a stellatus puffer and see how big you can grow it, that would be fun.

I'd go with the large angels, and some large tangs. That is my plan for my 360g, but not nearly as many as you could have.

All the triggers and angels would kill the shark.

I like Harliquin Tusk fish. Not too aggressive and a very beautiful specimen.

I would do everything that these folks say minus the shark and ray. They would very quickly die due to the aggressive and pick-on-sharks and rays-nature that the triggers, angels, and puffers have. Other than that, sounds like you have a lot of good suggestions here.
