Mccoskers Flasher in a BB
Hey everyone, I would really like to keep a pair of McCoskers Flashers in my tank. However, my tank is bare bottom so I may have to build a small "sandbox" for these guys to hide in.
What size would you suggest? For anyone that has done this in the past, other than making sure your flow did not blow your sand everywhere, was there anything else you had to watch out for? |

Flashers and fairies have no need for sand. They make mucous cocoons in the rockwork.

They can be jumpers.

Thanks Chewie, i was under the impression that they needed the sand. That is good news though, thanks for the help.
Prugs, you are 100% correct. I had one jump in the past. On my new tank, the canopy is enclosed. I have to jumpproof the overflow, and around some of the piping, but I should be ok now. |
