Unsubscribe

Every time I post on a thread, it automatically subscribes me to it and I get a ton of emails. I check my options and couldnt find anything to stop this. Is there a way I can turn off automatically subscribing to threads?

Under My RC - edit options - Messaging & Notification look for "Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in."
