umm i dont think i have much if any extra, if i do it would be really small rubble pieces.
I can check though. I will hopefully be working on my frag racks and that will give me an idea on how much rock i can get in the 55.

Nice split Kurt! How many pounds of rock do you have in the 15 right now, Chris? It looks like you have quite a bit in there.

I was thinking about getting some egg crate and PVC, making a cove structure, and using pond foam to cover it all... then just put this rock around it to hold it down. I'm not sure yet though.

That's kind of the same idea... just mine will have more of the foam coming toward the front.

That's what I thought you were doing. Obviously it looks great and I hope you can get yours to look nice if you do go that route.

Yea, I'm going to try it at least... I have some really good growth on my rocks that I have now, so I want those to be in the front showing off my corals... I just need to figure out how to do it!

i started looking at the foam stuff after my tank had water in it of course i will probably try the foam out the next chance i get.

I do love the black background when its clean though, really shows off the corals. The foam can be scraped off right?

I don't know that it can be scraped off... I'm going to build a frame for it to surround, I'm not going to touch the back with it

Fish traps... try some Nori in a clear plastic container that you can easily pull out

need a door too, I was thinking a 2liter with the top cut off with a mesh door, like the stuff you get oranges in sometimes. Tie fishing string to the mesh and thread it through holes in the 2liter in different spots so that when they are all pulled the mesh is pulled all the way across it.

What do ya think?

Too complicated... if he eats nori out of your hand, I'd try to put something clear in there with the nori in it, and then wait for him to swim in and eat, then just pick it up

doesnt eat out of my hand, and if i moved it to pull the thing out it would most likely bolt out of the container
Im pretty sure i need something with a door.
