Has anyone ever used an actual sock as a filter sock?
lol Kind of a funny question but would it not work or would the material start to deteriorate?

I've used women's pantyhose for running carbon before. Worked great...

Good to know. Thanks.
I just put a couple "real" socks on and it made a huge difference in microbubble production in the sump.
I'll just keep switching them up as my laundry comes and goes.
lol just kidding.
I'm going to try Randy's DIY socks.
Thanks guys
Nick
