I love your setup.....I am a big fan of cubed tanks because of the depth of them. IMO it allows for many more options when aquascaping. Your aquascaping looks very nice.....I can only imagine what its going to look like with it covered in SPS.
congrats on a beautiful setup.

hey, thats a great tank! one question tho (might have been asked already..srry) whats powering the flow coming out of those pipes that come up from the gravel? are the actually coming up from a hole in the bottom of tank, or are they just running under the sand? either way, thats a great idea to make a more random flow...i'm thinkin bout tryin that on my 40 now.

Thanks for the replys, the 4 returns thru the bottom are a closed loop run thru an Oceans Motions 4 way. There is another 4 on top thru a separate closed loop. LOTS of flow. lol

Now that I look at that thing it looks terrible. I’ll do you a favor and take it off your hands for free. LOL jk . Are you going to have a canopy for it? I really like the cube tanks. They have so much you can do with them. Some day I will have one that nice.

newhere - I never want to have to move that tank again, if I move I'm selling it with the house

sir_dudeguy - the returns on the bottom are still pretty visible, I will be getting some small pieces of live rock to help hide them but for now they are kind aout there. The pictures were from the front and the left and right sides.

Ok fine since you insist I will find someone else to help me move it LOL. Is it viewable from the 3 sides. More pics are always welcome.

I think it looks really good! I would not bother with additional rock to hide the returns. As corals grow in they will hide them and you will also have to redirect them as the tank grows out. When the coralline grows on everything they will less noticeable too. The pics from the angle view are much more interesting than the front shots. They show the depth.

Some good info on this site about aquascaping.

kirstenk - Thanks! Steve's tank was definitely an inspiration for me. I remember following his thread. I'm not too worried about the returns because like you said once some corraline grows over them they look fine to me.

Huge Kudos. I think what appeals to me most is the 'mass' of water. Very impressive setup from start to finish!

Kirsten - Great link on aquascaping...thx
