hey
we just picked up some frags from this guy and we notcied there are a couple AIPTASIA on them... how do we get rid of this without spreading?? can we pluck them out?? what do we do!!!!

try injecting them right in the mouth with hot boiling water or lemon juice...

they are right in the middle of zoanthid colonies though, injecting boiling water or lemon juice might kill the zoas, wouldn`t it

can you take the new zoas out of the tank to do it? that way, if it runs a little you can stop it with a paper towel or something...

Taking it out of the water isn't a bad idea. If you are very careful, even in the water, you should be able to squirt a tiny amount into it's mouth without hurting the surrounding zoas too bad.
