Skimmer question

I'm making a skimmer out of 10" Tubing.. It's going to be powered by a sedra 9000 needle wheel. What is the max height for the reaction chamber?? And how tall should the neck be?? Thanks for your help....

You really don't need a 10'' tube if you are only using a sedra 9000. You could go down to 8'' or use a sedra 1200+. I wouldn't make the body more than 24-30'' tall since it is a needlwheel. The neck size should be half the size of the main body or a little smaller.
