Reef Central and RMRC.info

I think there is a valid place for both forums.

I would like to see our club members participating on the RMRC forum at www.RMRC.info, where we can have great local interaction and separate areas for people interested in discussion versus for sale, etc. But I also think that Reef Central allows us to connect with the reefing world on a larger scale than just locally, and as such is important to the success of our club. I would like to see as many people as possible avoid being banned and prevent our club forum here from being entirely shut down: please stop trying to argue Reef Central policies and/or bash the moderators. The rules are there for a reason, and the moderators are doing their (thankless and unappreciated) job.

Please continue to participate on www.RMRC.info and, if you like to follow the Reef Central user agreement, participate here on Reef Central.

Thanks!

Thanks Christina. I would like to echo your sentiments, and state publicly that RC fully supports club web sites. We appreciate the opportunity to provide a meeting place for members on RC, and also recognize that clubs have a need for their own "place" where they can have rules that may differ from the ones here.

For those who are under the impression that you cannot link to other forums, please note that we have never removed or deleted any club links. As Paul Harvey would say, sometimes you need to know the "rest of the story".

I for one appreciate the mods on RC. We've all seen them shutdown some very foolish people and then let them back on after a situation was diffused and cooled down. They do a great job here.
