Is this a coral? Need identification..

I was checking out my tank and I noticed this on my center piece of live rock, not sure what it is maybe some of you might. There is two groups of these small things growing. Its a pretty dormant tank, havent been maintaining much to be honest, Im in college so I eventually get around to it, and Im unemployed so I dont have much to work with either =/.. Here are the pics

It might not be algea. Is it translucent? How long has the rock been in your tank? Have you add anything new in the last 3 months?

Yes it is translucent, havent added anything within the last three months, and it has been running for like 10 months now, the rock has been in there since the start.

I concur...if it's translucent, it's algea...not a nuisance algea like the green bubble algea though. I think it looks good growing on the plumbing in my sump it adds some color to an otherwise mostly green fuge.
