coral

What's the best coral for a begginer?

I have two 110 watt VHO bulbs (46.5 inches long).
Is that enough for a 60 gallon tank?

I run 2 110 watt and 2 95 watt on my 90 gallon. I have toadstool, frogspawn, colt coral, green star polyps, lots of mushrooms, pulsing zenia and a very fast growing montipora digitana as well as a fast growing brown cap.

I seem to have no issues with this setup and these corals. if you want something hardy, go with mushrooms or a toadstool.

my mushrooms came on my live rock and servived the initial ammonia cycle.

I am assuming this is the 24" deep 60 gal(hence the long bulbs) If so you would be very limited for the bottom half of the tank IMO, at least add a couple no fluorescent and you should be able to keep lps/ softies in the top half, mushrooms and sun polyps for color in the bottom half.
